Consultant Gynecologist & Obstetrician (OB‑GYN)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Consultant Gynecologist & Obstetrician to lead our maternity and women’s health services at ABM Hospital. The role involves managing high‑volume outpatient clinics, overseeing normal and cesarean deliveries, and performing both elective and emergency gynecological surgeries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily antenatal, postnatal and general gynecology OPD consultations.
• Manage labor‑room protocols, monitor active labor, and perform emergency obstetric interventions.
• Perform normal deliveries (NVD) and cesarean sections (LSCS) in the modular operating theatre.
• Carry out minor and major gynecological surgeries as required.
• Supervise resident medical officers and nursing staff to ensure high‑quality inpatient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams for high‑risk pregnancies and reproductive health management.

Required profile

• MBBS with MS / MD / DGO / DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Valid registration with the Telangana State Medical Council or NMC.
• 2–8+ years of clinical experience in obstetric care and surgical procedures.
• Fluency in Hindi/Urdu and Telugu preferred for patient communication.

Required skills

• Normal delivery (NVD) and cesarean section (LSCS) procedures.
• Gynecological surgery (minor and major).
• Antenatal and postnatal care management.
• Emergency obstetric intervention.
