Cloud Security Engineer I

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join its Information Security team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on protecting cloud applications and customer data while supporting the company’s broader security initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage, and monitor security controls for SaaS and cloud workloads.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats in the cloud environment.
• Define technical security requirements for IAM, security groups, data protection, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and SIEM integration.
• Research and propose cloud security solutions to improve compliance with the NIST Framework.
• Collaborate with Security, Enterprise Architecture, Technology Infrastructure, and Cloud Engineering teams.

Required profile

• Strong passion for information security and cloud security operations.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in designing and supporting cloud security controls.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and drive security initiatives across the organization.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional technical teams.
