About the role

The Portland Area Manager will lead our janitorial teams across multiple sites, ensuring that cleaning and maintenance standards are consistently met. This role blends leadership, customer service, and operational oversight to deliver high‑quality facility care.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily janitorial operations at several locations, guaranteeing cleanliness and maintenance excellence.
• Recruit, train, and develop janitors and supervisors, fostering a culture of performance and teamwork.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing needs and ensuring satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, keeping teams fully equipped.
• Prepare and control budgets for labor, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Resolve client or staff issues promptly and professionally.
• Implement sustainable cleaning practices and monitor their effectiveness.
• Generate reports and performance metrics for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading janitorial or facilities cleaning teams.
