Civil Site Supervisor – Construction Projects

About the role

The Civil Site Supervisor will lead on‑site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all on‑site construction work and ensure compliance with plans, specifications and standards.
• Monitor project progress, report updates to the Project Manager and manage resources, materials and equipment.
• Lead, mentor and assign tasks to junior supervisors and construction teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Conduct quality inspections, implement quality control procedures and resolve any defects promptly.
• Enforce safety regulations, conduct safety briefings and ensure proper use of protective equipment.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, daily logs, progress reports and ensure all permits are up‑to‑date.
• Communicate with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders, addressing issues and ensuring client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Extensive experience as a Site Supervisor, including several years in a senior supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials and project management principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with construction management software.
