Business Analyst – Capital Markets (Mumbai/Bangalore)

About the role

The Business Analyst will support Capital Markets and Investment Banking projects for leading banks and financial institutions. Working from our Mumbai/Bangalore office, you will collaborate with project managers, business sponsors and technology teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions across trade lifecycle, regulatory reporting and collateral management.

Key responsibilities

• Operate in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies, delivering required artefacts for each approach.
• Analyse and document functional and business requirements by leading requirement‑gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define testing objectives, coordinate with testing teams and ensure alignment with business specifications.
• Provide domain expertise on trade lifecycle, derivatives, collateral and regulatory reporting processes.

Required profile

• 6‑12 years of experience as a Business Analyst within an investment bank or capital markets environment.
• Proven ability to drive process change using Agile methodology and related tools.
• Strong understanding of trade processing, SDLC, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization and documentation skills.
