Business Analyst – Capital Markets / Investment Banking

About the role

The Business Analyst will support capital market and investment banking initiatives, focusing on trade lifecycle management, regulatory reporting, and process improvement across multiple client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate in both agile and waterfall project methodologies, delivering required artifacts for each approach.
• Analyze trade lifecycle, global regulations, and investment banking processes to define functional requirements.
• Manage project stakeholders, coordinating with project managers and business sponsors to scope analysis areas.
• Conduct business requirement gathering sessions and produce detailed specification documents.
• Define testing objectives and collaborate with testing teams to ensure solution quality.
• Provide domain expertise in trade processing, collateral management, and derivatives operations.

Required profile

• 5 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst within an investment bank or capital markets environment.
• Proven knowledge of trade lifecycle, financial products, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with agile methodology and related tools, as well as waterfall processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills to lead stakeholder elicitation and issue resolution.
