Branch Manager – Gold Loan (North West)

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the North West region of our Gold Loan (GL) business, overseeing all branch operations, profitability and customer experience. You will drive field‑marketing initiatives, ensure compliance in gold valuation, and grow the loan portfolio while maintaining low NPA levels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall branch performance, profitability and day‑to‑day operations.
• Plan, execute and monitor field‑marketing activities to generate a healthy pipeline of leads.
• Engage customers for new acquisitions and retention of existing clients.
• Conduct accurate valuation and appraisal of pledged gold ornaments, ensuring weight, purity and audit compliance.
• Serve as joint custodian of the vault, safeguarding pledged securities.
• Control NPAs through proactive follow‑ups and interest collection.
• Hire, coach, mentor and evaluate branch staff, providing timely feedback.
• Prepare and analyse performance reports, taking corrective actions for business growth.
• Promote ancillary products such as NCDs and gold coins.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of relevant experience in gold loan banking or related financial services.
• Bachelor’s or post‑graduate degree preferred.
• Prior experience in managing gold loan products, client service or branch operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
