Backend Developer Intern

About the role

FiniFi is looking for a motivated Backend Developer Intern to join its fast‑growing fintech team. You will work directly with the founders and senior engineers to build and scale the core platform that automates accounts payable and receivable for large enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Create, optimise, and document APIs that integrate with financial connectors.
• Work with MongoDB to ensure reliable data storage and smooth data flows.
• Support deployment and management of Azure cloud infrastructure, including containerised workloads on AKS/Kubernetes.
• Use Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Integrate third‑party APIs such as Gemini and OpenAI via Node.js SDKs.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of backend development concepts.
• Enthusiasm for learning enterprise SaaS, API integrations, and cloud technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Fresh graduates or recent graduates with a passion for building technology solutions.
