AWS DevOps Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Lead to drive the migration and modernization of applications to the AWS cloud. You will work closely with clients to understand requirements, design robust solutions, and lead the implementation across multiple environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support AWS-based architectures using services such as ELB, RDS, EC2, S3, and IAM.
• Lead application migration projects from on‑premise to AWS, ensuring performance, security, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, propose and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct code reviews, create detailed design artifacts, and oversee validation and support activities.
• Participate in team meetings, troubleshoot development and production issues, and contribute to thought leadership in cloud technologies.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Effective collaboration with remote teams.

Required skills

• AWS services (ELB, RDS, EC2, S3, IAM).
• Java/J2EE and Spring Boot development.
• Python programming.
• Ansible for configuration management and automation.
