Associate Security Officer

About the role

The Associate Security Officer will support the Smart Campus security command centre, overseeing the protection of the campus perimeter, buildings, critical areas and essential systems. This role combines operational monitoring, technology integration and data‑driven analysis to ensure a safe environment for all campus users.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review security operations from the state‑of‑the‑art command centre using CCTV, access control and public address systems.
• Identify gaps in existing security processes and propose new technology solutions.
• Perform analytics on campus security data to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop, implement and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Support the rollout of integrated security and surveillance projects.
• Collaborate with design teams and other campuses to share learnings and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide input on security system maintenance contracts to ensure uninterrupted support.
• Lead and manage the Security Command Centre team to deliver the highest security standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in large‑scale security operations or campus security environments.
• Ability to analyse data and translate findings into actionable improvements.
• Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Leadership capability to build and manage a security operations team.
