Associate Professor – Cyber Security (2 positions)

About the role

The IFAC‑CORE in Cyber Security at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore Campus is inviting applications for two Associate Professor positions. The role combines advanced research with undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in all areas of cyber security.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct high‑quality research projects in cyber security.
• Publish findings in reputable journals and conferences.
• Secure research funding from industry, government and academic sources.
• Design and deliver courses for B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes.
• Supervise student theses and projects.
• Collaborate with industry partners and government agencies.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic governance.
• Mentor junior faculty and research staff.

Required profile

• Ph.D. from a recognised university in Cyber Security, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong academic record with evidence of research excellence.
• Experience in university‑level teaching and supervision.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment.
