Associate Professor – Computer Science, AI & Data Science

About the role

The university seeks an Associate Professor to lead teaching and research in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science and Information Technology. The role combines high‑quality instruction, scholarly activity, and industry‑academic collaboration to advance the institution’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in core CSE, AI, AIML, Data Science and IT.
• Lead and coordinate research projects, secure external funding, and publish in internationally‑rated journals.
• Mentor students at all levels, fostering research participation and project‑based learning.
• Develop academic standards, innovative assessment methods, and curriculum updates in line with AKTU guidelines.
• Represent GL Bajaj at national and international conferences, keynote events, and professional bodies.
• Build and manage collaborations with industry partners and external research institutions.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Data Science or a closely related field.
• Proven record of high‑impact publications and successful research funding.
• Extensive teaching experience with excellent student outcomes in AKTU‑affiliated programs.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary research teams and manage resources effectively.
