Associate Practitioner – Clinical Education Support

About the role

The Associate Practitioner will join a dynamic Clinical Education team within NHS Golden Jubilee, supporting the delivery of training programmes for Healthcare Support Workers and assisting with RN training initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Clinical Education team in planning and delivering SVQ programmes and study days.
• Provide day‑to‑day support for training activities, ensuring smooth operation of educational sessions.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager to align training with service needs.
• Maintain records and documentation in line with SQA procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum SCQF Level 7 (SVQ Level 3 Clinical or HNC/D in a health‑related subject).
• Progressive experience in an acute adult nursing environment.
• Commitment to obtain an SVQ Assessor award within the first year (or already hold the award).
• Strong knowledge of SQA processes and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Understanding of SVQ and HNC/D qualification frameworks.
• Familiarity with SQA assessment procedures.
