About the role
The Assistant Manager – Sales supports the hotel’s sales team by handling sales opportunities, ensuring smooth turnover to operations, and building long‑term, value‑based relationships with clients. This full‑time, onsite role focuses on driving revenue through proactive engagement with existing and prospective customers.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with off‑property sales channels to coordinate efforts and avoid duplication.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers through sales calls, entertainment events, FAM trips, and trade shows.
- Participate in sales calls, generate proposals, draft contracts, and manage customer correspondence.
- Identify market trends, competitor activity, and target customer insights to maximize revenue.
- Provide accurate turnover information to Event Management for seamless service delivery.
- Support the company’s customer service standards to enhance loyalty and account share.
Required profile
- 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field with at least 2 years of sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree in the same fields with no prior experience required.
