About the role
The Assistant Manager – Projects will lead the implementation of CNG station projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards. Reporting to the GA Projects Head, the role combines technical evaluation, planning and contractor oversight.
Key responsibilities
- Drive project implementation (≈70% of effort), preparing monthly plans, survey reports, route maps and aligning grid designs with engineering requirements.
- Lead technical feasibility studies for new CNG stations, produce evaluation reports and coordinate drawing preparation with engineering and planning teams.
- Oversee the selection, construction and commissioning of mother stations, online stations and daughter booster stations.
- Manage contractor relationships (≈30% of effort), ensuring contracts are in place, conducting regular progress review meetings and monitoring budget performance.
- Collaborate with O&M, AI & HSE teams to enforce safety standards and compliance with relevant legislation.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- 7–10 years of overall experience with at least 2–3 years in the CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) industry.
- Proven ability to deliver large‑scale infrastructure projects on schedule and within budget.
