Assistant Engineer – Service (Ghaziabad)

About the role

The Assistant Engineer – Service will ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency across the assigned territory. You will provide timely solutions, manage service outlets, and report performance metrics to the head office.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute service tours for a minimum of 15 days per month, reporting to the Area Engineer.
• Visit branch offices fortnightly and oversee authorized service outlets to meet a 2‑day repair delivery target.
• Resolve direct customer complaints on site within two days.
• Monitor field performance of our products versus competitors and provide feedback for product upgrades.
• Standardize and appoint service outlets according to the annual service plan.
• Maintain spares inventory at dealers and branches, ensuring reorder levels are met.
• Conduct field training for dealers, mechanics, and service staff.
• Process warranty bills, manage FOC spares replacements, and compile service reports for head office.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of experience in customer handling, pump service, or related industry.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and communication abilities.
• Commitment to workplace safety and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
