Assembly Fitter – Mechanical Production

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Fitter to join our production team in Ahmedabad. The role focuses on assembling mechanical parts, sub‑assemblies, and machinery according to technical drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Fit and assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Perform drilling, tapping, grinding, and basic machining tasks as required.
• Align, adjust, and test assembled parts to ensure proper functioning and dimensional accuracy.
• Coordinate with welding, machining, and quality teams to maintain smooth workflow.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition while following safety protocols.

Required profile

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Fitter trade preferred.
• 0‑3 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined teamwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency with vernier, micrometer, and gauges.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Basic machining skills such as drilling, tapping, and grinding.
• Knowledge of fabrication and machine assembly processes.
