Area Finance Controller

About the role

The Area Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day financial transactions within the assigned region, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with corporate financial policies. This role combines technical accounting expertise with the ability to mentor junior staff and influence tactical financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor cost accounting activities, including direct and indirect cost allocation and variance analysis.
• Develop, maintain, and control annual budget accounting processes, tracking revenue and expense performance.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely billing and invoicing.
• Provide coaching and informal supervision to less experienced finance professionals.
• Apply subject‑matter expertise to solve routine business issues and support non‑routine, complex matters.
• Collaborate with other functions to understand interdependencies and support overall business objectives.

Required profile
