Application Developer – SAP ABAP for HANA

About the role

We are looking for an Application Developer who will design, build and configure SAP applications that support our business processes. The role focuses on SAP ABAP development for the HANA platform and requires close collaboration with functional teams to translate requirements into reliable software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test SAP ABAP programs optimized for SAP HANA.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements.
• Ensure applications are scalable, maintainable and comply with organisational standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in SAP ABAP development for HANA.
• 15 years of full‑time education (equivalent to a bachelor’s degree).
• Ability to work independently and become a subject‑matter expert.

Required skills

• Understanding of SAP HANA database concepts and integration techniques.
• Application lifecycle management and software development methodologies.
• Code optimisation for performance and scalability in SAP environments.
