Analytics Engineer - SQL & Data Visualization

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Analytics Engineer to join our Bengaluru team. You will design, develop and maintain data solutions that turn raw data into actionable insights, supporting decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and write complex SQL queries to extract, transform and load data from multiple sources.
• Build, maintain and optimise ETL pipelines and data models for data warehouses and data lakes.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualisations using Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns and anomalies.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and product teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Monitor and improve database performance, query execution and pipeline efficiency.
• Document data processes, transformations and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot data‑quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in SQL with experience in performance optimisation.
• Hands‑on experience with data‑visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
• Strong understanding of database management, data modelling and schema design.
• Experience developing and maintaining ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java or Scala).
• Solid grasp of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field.
