Active Directory Administrator – Windows & VMware

About the role

The team is looking for an experienced Active Directory Administrator to manage and support a hybrid Windows, VMware and identity infrastructure across multiple Indian locations. You will ensure the availability, security, automation and compliance of core services such as AD, SCCM, ADFS, DNS and PKI.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server (2012‑2022) environments and perform server provisioning, patching and performance tuning.
• Manage VMware ESXi, vCenter, HA/DRS and vMotion clusters.
• Design, maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory DS, GPOs, OU structures, replication and access controls.
• Resolve authentication issues involving Kerberos, LDAP and DNS; support hybrid identity solutions (ADFS, Entra ID).
• Handle endpoint management through SCCM, including patch deployment, compliance monitoring and health reporting.
• Administer core network services (DNS, DHCP) and manage the PKI certificate lifecycle.
• Implement security hardening, access controls and ITIL‑based incident, change and problem management processes.
• Develop PowerShell automation scripts, maintain documentation, SOPs and audit readiness.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of hands‑on experience in Windows server and virtualization environments.
• Strong expertise in Wintel, VMware and identity management stacks.
• Proven ability to work in ITIL‑driven operations and deliver automation solutions.
