Accountant – Manufacturing Finance & Accounting

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our manufacturing operations, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance team in daily activities. The role involves working with SAP and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Update all finance and accounting data in SAP on a daily basis.
• Assist the Chief Officer in finalising accounts and performing ledger scrutiny.
• Process and account for payables and receivables promptly.
• Handle petty cash, reconcile cash and bank books, and maintain fixed‑asset registers.
• Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax and other statutory requirements.
• Control and scrutinise expenses against budget and perform physical stock verification and reconciliation.
• Coordinate internal and statutory audits, strengthening internal controls and adhering to management policies.

Required profile

• B.Com degree (mandatory).
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Male candidates are preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
