Accountant – Core Finance Role

About the role

The global logistics leader is establishing its India finance centre and needs a diligent accountant to manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping, reconciliations and reporting. You will ensure the ledger is accurate and ready for month‑end close while supporting a high‑volume, international trade environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review journal entries, accruals and ledger postings.
• Reconcile bank, vendor and inter‑company accounts with precision.
• Process accounts payable and receivable on schedule.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close with clean schedules.
• Maintain documentation for audits and statutory filings.
• Assist in preparing GST, TDS and other routine compliance inputs.

Required profile

• 2 to 6 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or general ledger roles.
• Strong understanding of double‑entry accounting and month‑end close processes.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Reliable remote‑work setup (if working off‑site).
• B.Com or M.Com; CA Inter is a plus.
• Experience in a GCC, shared‑services or multinational environment is advantageous.
