Warehouse Operator – Materials Handling

About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support efficient and accurate warehouse operations at its Kancheepuram facility. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming materials according to standard operating procedures.
• Pick, pack, and issue materials to meet production and dispatch requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through stock logs, cycle counts, and physical inventory support.
• Apply proper labeling, FIFO, JIT practices, and material segregation.
• Follow EHS, safety, PPE, and 5S standards and report unsafe conditions immediately.

Required profile

• ITI or Diploma qualification, or equivalent warehouse‑related experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in warehouse operations or stores assistance.
• Basic knowledge of ERP/WMS and Excel.
