Subsidiary Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Subsidiary Controller will lead finance and accounting activities for multiple legal entities, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. Reporting to both the Regional Finance Controller and the Shared Service Director, this individual contributor role requires strong technical expertise and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end Accounts Payable and Order‑to‑Cash cycles.
• Prepare and post journal entries including pre‑payments, accruals, re‑classifications and payroll.
• Perform month‑end close activities, balance‑sheet reconciliations and P/L analysis according to the close calendar.
• Handle inter‑company accounting and ensure proper statutory compliance with third‑party vendors.
• Support multiple entities with dual reporting lines and coordinate with shared services.

Required profile

• Minimum 14 years of finance and accounting experience, including at least 2 years as a finance controller.
• Graduate in Commerce with a full‑time Master’s degree in Finance & Accounts, ICWA or CA qualification.
• Proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work in shifts and manage stakeholder relationships.
