Sr. Engineer Autosar Base SW Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to develop, integrate and validate AUTOSAR based software for master powertrain controllers in upcoming plug‑in hybrid and battery electric vehicles. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality embedded solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, validate, and document AUTOSAR software for master powertrain controllers.
• Elicit, clarify, and review functional requirements.
• Analyze inputs, outputs and parameters and propose innovative design solutions.
• Document high‑level and low‑level designs, source code and unit tests.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, QA, partners, suppliers and internal teams.
• Support function and system testing across PIL, SIL, HIL and vehicle environments.
• Participate in technical and project forums for information gathering, clarification and reporting.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 3‑6 years of experience in automotive embedded software development.
• Strong knowledge of ECU and microcontroller architectures.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as Ethernet, FlexRay, CAN, LIN, I2C and SPI.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and using tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Required skills

• Configuring AUTOSAR BSW stacks and integrating with RTE/Application Layer.
• OS configuration for AUTOSAR platforms.
• Embedded C programming; scripting with Perl, Python and CAPL.
• Use of Vector tools: DaVinci Configurator, CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape.
• Debugging with Lauterbach TRACE32.
• Unit testing and validation using PIL, SIL and HIL.
• Experience with diagnostics, IPduM, PNC, signal routing and CanTp.
