Simulation Lab Technician (Skill Lab)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Simulation Lab Technician to support simulation‑based learning and clinical skills training at our Skill Lab. You will ensure that all simulation equipment, audiovisual systems, and software run smoothly for academic and training sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot simulation equipment, task trainers, and audiovisual systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, conduct inspections, and verify equipment readiness before each session.
• Prepare labs, mannequins, and materials; assist faculty during simulations, workshops, and examinations.
• Provide rapid technical support during sessions and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, tagging, and asset tracking for all lab equipment.
• Document maintenance logs, calibration records, and inspection reports; ensure audit‑ready documentation.
• Coordinate with academic departments on schedules, OSCEs, and competency assessments.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in medical technology, healthcare simulation technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in simulation labs or healthcare technical support (preferred).
