Senior Officer – Global Quality and Compliance

About the role

Sun Pharma is seeking a Senior Officer for its Global Quality and Compliance unit in Jammu. The role focuses on ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and smooth operations across production and packaging processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform line clearance of areas and equipment and report non‑compliance to the IPQA Head.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures in production and packaging.
• Verify critical process parameters as defined in batch process records.
• Conduct in‑process sampling, testing, and release of blends, bulk, and finished goods according to SOPs.
• Maintain sample receipt logs and coordinate with the laboratory for timely analysis.
• Inspect over‑printed details on foils, cartons, labels, and provide approval for packaging.
• Review documentation such as BMR, BPR, scrap records, monthly formats, and logbooks.
• Report abnormal conditions, initiate deviations when necessary, and follow GMP, EHS, and SOP guidelines.

Required profile

• B.Pharm degree.
• 1‑3 years of experience in pharmaceutical production, quality, or compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP HANA.
• Experience using LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
