Senior Full Stack Java Developer

About the role

Fluor is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to lead the design, development and maintenance of enterprise‑grade web applications. You will work with global teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions while adhering to best‑practice standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug and document Java‑based applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including executive managers, to gather and clarify requirements.
• Implement RESTful and SOAP services, ensuring secure authentication via OAuth2, LDAP or Active Directory.
• Build responsive front‑end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery and Angular.
• Maintain and optimise relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Apply Agile or Waterfall methodologies to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines (MS DevOps) and version control (Git).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Java application development.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on schedule and work with cross‑functional, global teams.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
