Senior Consultant – Ariba SLP & Buying Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to lead Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) as well as Buying initiatives across a complex, multi‑ERP environment. The role combines deep expertise in Ariba with strong experience in supplier registration, qualification, risk monitoring and buying channel configuration.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements, perform fit‑gap analysis and design robust SLP and Buying solutions.
• Conduct workshops, produce documentation and configure modular questionnaires covering tax, banking, ESG, InfoSec and sanctions.
• Align vendor master data with SAP S/4‑HANA/ECC and a non‑SAP MDM system.
• Define and implement risk rules, thresholds, continuous monitoring and remediation playbooks.
• Establish GDPR‑compliant consent, data‑retention and right‑to‑be‑forgotten processes.
• Create buying channels (punch‑out/hosted), smart forms, approval flows and guided‑buying configurations.
• Develop supplier performance scorecards, corrective‑action plans and governance frameworks linked to category strategies.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience with Ariba, specifically SLP and Buying modules.
• Proven track record integrating SLP with multiple ERP systems and managing FPC Ariba environments.
• Experience designing supplier registration, qualification and risk‑management workflows.
• Strong understanding of third‑party risk, sanctions/PEP, ESG and EU privacy frameworks.

Required skills

• Ariba SLP/Risk configuration and API/CIG integration patterns.
• Data validation, deduplication rules and GB (Guided Buying) configuration.
• Tile/form design, basic HTML for content creation.
• Ariba Buying, catalog management and guided‑buying setup.
