This high-impact role focuses on ensuring the reliability and performance of complex data pipelines within a cutting-edge AWS ecosystem.

Missions principales

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for data pipelines, cloud services, and application layers.
• Validate data pipeline integrity, transformation accuracy, and performance under load using tools like Airflow, Glue, Athena, and EMR.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate technical risks arising from automated testing results.
• Research, evaluate, and deploy new testing frameworks specifically tailored to the AWS data stack.
• Integrate and manage automated tests within GitLab CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid feedback loops and prevent regressions.
• Mentor junior team members and promote engineering quality best practices across the organization.

Profil recherché

• Proven experience as a Test Engineer or QA Engineer, specifically within cloud-native data environments.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in writing code and developing test frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setup, collaborating closely with a UK-based leadership team.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and technical mentorship.

Competences requises

• Expertise in AWS Data Stack: Apache Airflow, Amazon Athena, AWS Glue, S3, EMR, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in CI/CD workflows, specifically GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and cloud infrastructure testing.
• Advanced automation testing skills and framework development.
