SAP Developer – Personnel Administration & Organizational Management (SAP HCM)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM developer to join our Global HR Master Data & HR Self Services team in Hyderabad. You will focus on Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM) modules, delivering technical solutions that support core HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain PA infotypes, subtypes and core PA processes such as hire, transfer, and termination.
• Technical maintenance of OM structures, including org units, positions, and jobs.
• Develop ABAP reports, enhancements, and interfaces using logical databases (PNP/PNPCE) and HR-specific BAdIs/user‑exits.
• Implement and analyze authority‑checks, debug standard HCM programs, and support Adobe/Smart Forms for HR outputs.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to assess customizing impacts and ensure data quality.
• Provide incident analysis, root‑cause debugging, and support testing activities (unit, UAT, regression).

Required profile

• Structured, analytical and detail‑oriented working style.
• Clear communication with HR process owners and IT stakeholders.
• Ability to document technical designs, configurations and development work.

Required skills

• SAP HCM – Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM).
• ABAP development in an HCM context.
• Logical databases PNP and PNPCE.
• HR‑specific user exits, BAdIs and enhancement frameworks.
• Authority‑check implementation and debugging.
• Adobe Forms / Smart Forms (optional).
• Understanding of integration with Time Management, Payroll and authorization concepts.
