Research Quality Specialist – Computational Chemistry (Remote)

About the role

This short‑term remote position focuses on creating and reviewing high‑quality computational chemistry problems for research and graduate‑level audiences. You will work independently while collaborating with reviewers and team leads to ensure content meets rigorous scientific standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and conceptualize research‑grade scientific problems using Python.
• Define problem categories, secondary tags, and difficulty levels.
• Solve formulated problems with accurate, reliable, and logically structured solutions.
• Participate in two‑tier quality reviews for problems and solutions.
• Collaborate with reviewers and team leads to improve content quality.
• Refine content based on feedback and maintain high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• PhD or PhD candidate in Computational Chemistry.
• At least one peer‑reviewed publication.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for scientific coding (preferred).
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• LinkedIn profile is mandatory.

What we offer

• Compensation of $80 per approved task.
• Flexible remote work with a requirement of 8 hours per day and 4 hours overlap with PST.
