Regional Security Manager

About the role

Google is seeking a Regional Security Manager to lead physical security, workplace safety and logistics across its Indian sites. The role combines strategic security planning with hands‑on incident response, ensuring the protection of people, assets and information while supporting a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies addressing global and local risks.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing guidance on security matters aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain relationships with law enforcement and external stakeholders.
• Oversee Global Security and Resilience Operations, including threat monitoring, incident management, crisis response and physical security oversight.
• Manage the security budget, allocate resources and supervise external security vendors.
• Ensure compliance with Indian regulations and corporate security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate security and law‑enforcement or military environments.
• Proven experience in security and risk management within a global organization, preferably in the information‑technology sector.
