Process and Utilities Manager

About the role

The Process and Utilities Manager will lead internal and external teams in designing, procuring and delivering process and utilities equipment for capacity expansion and new product development projects. The role covers the full project lifecycle from planning and capital‑expenditure preparation to operationalisation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Design and install process equipment and utilities, establishing performance metrics and providing post‑installation support.
• Lead data collection, technology transfer from R&D pilot‑plant scale to commercial plant applications.
• Explore and apply new methods and technologies to improve performance and reduce utility and manufacturing costs.
• Validate performance of selected solutions in coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensure timely delivery, commissioning and scaling up of new products from lab to plant scale.
• Participate in department review meetings to align critical project deliverables.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing design, installation and commissioning of process and utility equipment.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate with external suppliers.
• Strong analytical mindset to collect data, monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience in handling capital‑expenditure planning and project delivery within approved budgets and timelines.
