Platform Engineer – CAE Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Platform Engineer specialized in CAE solutions to join our team in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for integrating, maintaining and supporting engineering software platforms across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems with Active Directory/Entra ID structures.
• Manage group policies, roles, rights and overall infrastructure for client‑/server applications, databases, web servers and SaaS/cloud services.
• Evaluate, package and distribute enterprise software, ensuring smooth deployment of CAE/CAD tools.
• Provide direct customer support and troubleshoot platform‑related issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain and optimise tools from vendors such as Hexagon, Aveva, Autodesk, Siemens, CAXperts, Rösberg, Bentley and Aspentech.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a large enterprise environment managing engineering tools.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory/Entra ID and related security policies.
• Experience with CAE/CAD software from major vendors.
• Good command of English and German.
• Analytical thinking and an independent working style.
