About the role

The Mail Administrator – L2 will be responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of the HCL Domino/Notes mail environment. You will ensure high availability, optimal performance, and secure communication services for the enterprise. This is a full‑time position based in Vadodara.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer and manage HCL Domino servers, IBM Notes clients, Traveler and Verse.
  • Monitor mail server performance, ensure system uptime and handle capacity planning.
  • Provision users, create mailboxes, and manage access controls.
  • Perform server installations, upgrades, patching and configuration changes.
  • Manage mail routing, replication, and database maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot mail flow issues, delivery failures and latency problems.
  • Handle user authentication, ID files and certificate lifecycle.
  • Implement and maintain security policies, spam filters and access controls.
  • Execute regular backups and support disaster recovery processes.
  • Participate in ITIL‑based incident, problem and change management.
  • Collaborate with L3 teams for complex escalations and maintain documentation.

Required profile

  • Minimum 2 + years of hands‑on experience with HCL Domino/Notes administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MCA, M.Sc (IT) or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory integration.
  • Experience with ITSM tools and ITIL processes.
