Legal Advisor – Contracts & Paralegal

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Legal Advisor specializing in contracts and paralegal work to support our international operations across New Zealand, India and the UAE. The role offers exposure to cross‑border commercial activities, franchise systems and emerging market legal frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and franchise agreements for multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist in managing legal disputes and coordinate with external counsel when required.
• Maintain compliance documentation and ensure adherence to local regulations.
• Support business units with legal research, risk assessments and policy updates.
• Collaborate with the franchise team to align contractual terms with operational needs.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification.
• Relevant experience in business law, commercial contracts or corporate legal work.
• Experience with multi‑jurisdictional contracts is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proficient drafting, proofreading and documentation skills.
• Good understanding of commercial agreements and business law.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail.
