Lead Software Engineer – Testing

About the role

The Dual Message Authorization team at Mastercard is seeking a Lead Software Engineer focused on testing. You will drive quality initiatives, mentor engineers, and help shape the customer experience across our payment platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to multiple testing initiatives, potentially supervising a small team.
• Define test plans, schedules, and translate complex system requirements into test cases.
• Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and QA tools.
• Collaborate with developers and domain experts to create verification tests.
• Monitor defects early, follow SDLC and STLC processes, and use Agile tools such as ALM.
• Gather customer insights and production issues to continuously improve product quality.
