Junior Quality Engineer – Rotomoulding

About the role

The Junior Quality Engineer will support the rotomoulding production line by ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards from raw material receipt through final inspection. The role involves close collaboration with production, maintenance and customer teams to maintain high product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor in‑process quality checks during rotomoulding operations.
• Perform dimensional, visual, leak, wall‑thickness and fitment inspections.
• Verify first‑off, patrol and final inspection activities against customer drawings and specifications.
• Inspect incoming raw materials such as polymer powder, inserts, fittings, caps and bought‑out parts for supplier compliance.
• Handle customer complaints related to leakage, fitment, cracks, warpage or dimensional variation and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Prepare and submit CAPA/8D reports within defined timelines.
• Support OEM audits (e.g., JCB, John Deere, Mahindra, CNH) by ensuring audit readiness and document traceability.
• Maintain inspection reports, PDI records, rejection logs, calibration records and other quality documentation.
