IT Consultant – Financial Risk Management

About the role

As a member of the Infosys consulting team, you will act as an IT consultant focused on financial risk management, guiding clients through digital transformation projects. You will work across the full consulting lifecycle, from problem definition to solution design, development and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagement efforts to deliver high‑quality, value‑adding consulting solutions for clients in the financial sector.
• Review and guide proposals prepared by junior consultants, ensuring risks and issues are identified early.
• Define change‑management requirements and propose structured communication plans for client adoption.
• Coach team members, provide subject‑matter training, and foster a high‑performance culture through timely feedback.
• Contribute to unit‑level and organizational initiatives while adhering to company guidelines and processes.

Required profile

• Strong business acumen with strategic and cross‑industry thought leadership.
• Excellent logical thinking, problem‑solving abilities and collaborative mindset.
• Domain knowledge in financial risk management, including credit and market risk.
• Understanding of financial processes, pricing models and client‑interfacing skills.
• Experience in project and team management.
