Housekeeping Attendant – Pune

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at a Marriott hotel in Pune. The role involves maintaining guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest requests and service calls.
• Prepare and transport housekeeping carts with supplies to assigned areas.
• Enter guest rooms, replace amenities, change linens, make beds, and clean bathrooms following established procedures.
• Remove trash, dirty linen, and room‑service items, and ensure all appliances are present and functional.
• Dust, polish, vacuum carpets, and perform floor‑care duties in rooms and hallways.
• Maintain uniform appearance, follow safety and security policies, and report any maintenance issues.
• Welcome guests courteously, assist individuals with disabilities, and uphold Marriott’s service standards.

Required profile

• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart on uneven surfaces.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel, or sit for extended periods during a shift.
• Flexibility to reach overhead, bend, twist, and stoop as needed.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
