Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Hyatt Regency Chennai. The role involves delivering a high standard of cleanliness and service to our guests, ensuring rooms and public areas are maintained to the hotel’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and tidying of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Replace linens, amenities, and supplies according to hotel procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards while handling cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Provide courteous and professional interaction with guests and respond to their requests promptly.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or professional certification in Hospitality or Tourism management.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel housekeeping or related operations.
• Strong customer service orientation and good communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
