Head of Indirect Sourcing

About the role

The Head – Indirect Sourcing will lead the end‑to‑end indirect procurement function for Tata Electronics Private Limited’s greenfield semiconductor foundry and EMS sites, as well as corporate offices worldwide. Reporting to senior leadership, you will build a scalable sourcing organisation that drives cost competitiveness, compliance and operational excellence across technology, infrastructure and non‑technology spend.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an enterprise‑wide indirect sourcing strategy aligned with business ramp‑up, project timelines and cost targets.
• Consolidate indirect spend across the organisation and manage transformation programmes to maximise leverage across locations.
• Establish governance, policies and operating rhythms for EMS and semiconductor businesses, ensuring standardisation, compliance and risk management.
• Own sourcing for IT hardware (servers, storage, network, end‑user devices, AV) and lead procurement of enterprise software, SaaS applications and professional IT services.
• Lead non‑plant infrastructure sourcing, including social infrastructure (hostels, townships), vendor parks, logistics parks and common utilities (power, water, gas) to support rapid scale‑up of greenfield and brownfield sites.
• Oversee indirect non‑technology sourcing such as professional services, consulting, HR, legal, travel, facilities, real‑estate and indirect supplies.
• Partner with IT leadership on vendor consolidation, commercial negotiations and lifecycle management.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in indirect procurement, preferably within high‑tech, semiconductor or EMS environments.
• Proven track record of building and leading sourcing organisations in greenfield manufacturing settings.
• Strong understanding of technology, infrastructure and non‑technology spend categories.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior business leaders.
