Fresher Ophthalmology Consultant for OPD

About the role

This position offers fresh ophthalmology graduates an opportunity to begin their clinical career in a supportive OPD setting. You will receive hands‑on exposure to eye examinations, patient management and assisted surgical procedures under experienced mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct OPD consultations for patients with various eye conditions.
• Diagnose and manage common ophthalmic problems such as refractive errors, cataract and infections.
• Assist in ophthalmic surgeries and progressively perform procedures under supervision.
• Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care, including vision testing and prescription of corrective lenses.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Coordinate with OT staff, optometrists and other healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• MS or DNB in Ophthalmology.
• Fresh graduate or 0–1 year of experience; fresh candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to learn, strong clinical interest and immediate availability.
