Executive – Indirect Procurement Officer

About the role

The Executive – Indirect Procurement Officer will manage the full procurement lifecycle for indirect goods and services, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies. This role supports the Senior Manager Indirect Procurement and works closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end procurement of MRO, facility management, IT, office supplies, consumables and contract services.
• Issue RFQs, coordinate specifications with the maintenance team, and convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders in SAP/Ariba.
• Follow up with suppliers, resolve supply, payment and contract disputes, and close pending purchase orders.
• Maintain cost‑avoidance and cost‑saving data, generate cost‑saving ideas and daily MRP stock checks.
• Develop and negotiate with vendors for mechanical, electrical, civil, fabrication and other indirect categories.
• Utilise e‑sourcing, e‑auction and catalog buying tools in SAP/Ariba.
• Identify alternate vendors, create ARC records, and work on localisation of imported items.
• Prepare comparative pricing charts, monthly MIS reports and administrative purchase reports.

Required profile

• Proven ability to develop a vendor base and negotiate long‑term contracts.
• Hands‑on experience with high‑value project procurement.
• Strong familiarity with SAP/Ariba procurement modules and e‑sourcing processes.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
