Executive – Branch Operations (Express Logistics)

About the role

The Executive – Branch Operations role is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day logistics activities across multiple locations. You will manage loading and unloading operations, route planning, vehicle inspections, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical loading, unloading of trucks and containers, and sort documents for timely completion.
• Plan and reprioritise delivery routes to meet customer time‑windows and productivity targets.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle checks and prepare inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with state and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including delivery records, pick‑up manifests, and customs paperwork.
• Use defined tools to scan, record, and transfer data for performance tracking and compliance.
• Secure vehicles and packages by following safety and security procedures.
• Handle customer queries, resolve issues, or escalate when necessary.
• Identify revenue‑generation and customer‑satisfaction opportunities.
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile with system data.
• Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and achieve all KPIs.

Required profile

• Graduate or Post‑Graduate degree.
• 5–8 years of experience managing a warehouse or logistics operation.
• Experience in supervision, budgeting, safety management, standards development, process management, and inventory control.
• Strong reporting, analytical, and judgment skills.
• Team‑player attitude with a proactive approach.
