Designer I - Headwear/Apparel & Graphics

About the role

Jumo is looking for a narrative‑driven Designer I to shape headwear, apparel and graphics for its streetwear brand. Based in Bangalore, you will translate cultural insights into cohesive collections and ensure every detail aligns with the brand story.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a unified design language for each collection, linking graphics, colour palettes and textiles to a clear narrative.
• Plan product development at an atomic level, focusing on silhouette structure, 3D tonal embroidery tension, fabric weight and bespoke branding.
• Create precise, production‑ready technical packs, maintaining exact vector geometry, typography layout and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with sample makers, manage trims, review prototypes and provide detailed technical feedback.

Required profile

• Deep passion for global and local street culture, sub‑cultures and internet trends.
• Ability to turn cultural and social insights into design concepts that resonate both physically and digitally.
• Strong understanding of the difference between fast fashion and authentic, community‑driven streetwear.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience with 3D design software.
