Data Privacy Manager

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Data Privacy Manager to support the implementation and ongoing management of its privacy programme across the firm. The role will work closely with the Privacy Leader to ensure that Deloitte’s privacy policies, processes and controls align with applicable laws, regulations and best‑in‑class practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Privacy Leader in drafting, reviewing and updating privacy policies and related documentation.
• Act as Consent Manager and Grievance Officer when required.
• Serve as the single point of contact for privacy incident management and external privacy matters.
• Monitor compliance with Deloitte’s internal privacy standards and perform checks on privacy controls.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit to facilitate privacy risk assessments.
• Develop templates and formats for policies, processes and contracts.
• Prepare presentation material for workshops and training programmes, and deliver training as needed.
• Assist in preparing the firm for global practice reviews and support contract reviews to protect Deloitte’s interests.

Required profile

• Proven experience in implementing and supporting data privacy programmes.
• Strong knowledge of privacy laws, regulations and emerging technology impacts.
• Ability to draft, review and maintain privacy policies, processes and contractual clauses.
• Experience handling privacy incidents and conducting risk assessments.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
