Controller Technologist

About the role

Dow is seeking a Controller Technologist to provide consistent, high‑quality cost accounting support and reporting to global stakeholders. The role involves generating financial reports, managing product cost estimates, and supporting audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Generate month‑end and ongoing reports for the Global Cost Organization using Diamond Systems Reporting, SAP, MS Access and MS Excel.
• Prepare and investigate product cost estimate (PCE) variances on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Create and maintain Global Material IDs (GMID) and reconcile inventory counts through paper‑based processes.
• Process manual journal entries, miscellaneous invoices, cost‑center recovery, service billing, internal order settlement and cost‑center budget reporting.
• Provide audit support for internal and external cost‑accounting audits.

Required profile

• Qualified CMA/CA with at least 2 years of accounting and costing experience (MBA/Inter CMA/Inter CA acceptable with 2‑4 years).
• Highly motivated with a strong business orientation and the ability to act as a business partner.
• Excellent analytical, process‑improvement and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and adapt to changing demands.
